A Typical Day

I have been working from home while taking care of Arya for almost a year and a half. It occurred to me, from various conversations that I’ve had with friends and family during that time, that most don’t know what a typical day looks like for me. I normally get up between 5:30 and 6:00 am, and head to bed to read for an hour or so at about 9:00 pm. Here is an ordinary, summer Tuesday’s activities, not in any particular order but categorized.

Keep two things in mind: 1) I have no teaching commitments at the moment (like I would during Fall and Spring semesters), and 2) I monitor/listen for Arya at all times.
